A 5Rhythms® workshop
with Gloria Glo & Shauna Devlin
JUNE 5,6,7 // VANCOUVER
Movement shows us who we are beyond concept. Before explanation. Before story. It reveals us directly — and it holds us in ways the mind never could. This workshop is an invitation into that holding: a space where we lean into the arms of movement, without holding back any part of ourselves.
At whatever stage or phase of life you’re in, this immersion offers a laboratory of lived experience — a place to feel how the dance meets you, exactly as you are. Not to reshape you, but to respond to you. Not to lead you somewhere else, but to deepen where you already stand.
Over three days, we explore dance as a relational field — one capable of holding the full spectrum of human experience. Pleasure and grief. Clarity and confusion. Strength and softness. The dance doesn’t ask you to narrow yourself; it invites you to include more of yourself. Movement becomes the most holistic container we have to meet life honestly, with the body as our guide.
IN THIS WORKSHOP WE WILL EXPLORE
-
Learn to recognize the subtle signs of shadow when it appears in your life or movement
-
Explore each rhythm as both medicine and mirror—revealing where you’re free and where you’re stuck
-
Identify patterns and habits that influence your decisions and behavior
-
Develop strategies to work with resistance and obstacles effectively
-
Strengthen your awareness of how actions and choices are influenced by unconscious patterns
-
Discover how engaging with the shadow can improve clarity, focus, and intentional living
* This workshop counts as 2 days of Wave level
pre-requisite toward the 5Rhythms® Teacher Training
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for those who are willing to meet themselves honestly — not as a project, but as a living experience.
It’s for dancers who are curious about listening more deeply rather than doing more.
For those in transition, integration, questioning, or quiet recalibration.
For bodies that carry stories, tenderness, resilience, grief, joy, or all of it at once.
Held by two 5Rhythms guides devoted to presence and deep listening, this work unfolds through sensation, emotion, impulse, and the shared atmosphere of the room.
Rather than following a fixed destination, we enter the dance and feel into its intelligence. The floor becomes a place of gentle inquiry, where insight arises through experience, not analysis.

A weekend exploration of movement as a gateway to presence
Immersions offer a potent field for healing and transformation because they allow us to step outside the habitual rhythms of daily life and enter a dedicated space where presence deepens and the body can truly listen. The shared rhythm, vulnerability, and witnessing within a group creates a resonance field where healing becomes amplified—what one releases, another remembers. In this way, immersions are not just personal journeys, but sacred grounds where collective transformation can unfold, and where we remember that we are never alone in our becoming.
YOUR GUIDES
GLORIA GLO
Gloria Glo is a 5Rhythms teacher, dancer, and artist whose practice pulses with life, fire, and the poetry of movement. Guided by a deep love of rhythm in all its forms, she curates experiences that move bodies and hearts alike, blending the sacred with the visceral. Her classes are living rituals—meticulously designed to open the heart, ignite passion, and invite participants into their own embodied stories. With 13 years of dancing 5Rhythms, the practice has deeply shaped her life and awakened the artist within, fueling her devotion to music across genres and her ability to compose experiences that are both tender and electrifying.
